Check out these amazing pumpkin carvings.  They were done by a guy named Ray Villafane and were forwarded to me via email by my dad, the king of the forwarded chain email.

Thanks Dad!  And in case you haven't already heard, Julie over at Monkey Grass Hill is doing a giveaway of one of her gorgeous hand-crafted jewelry pieces.  Go there and sign up!

Happy Halloween!

Wow, if he can do this with a pumpkin, imagine what he could do with a mound of clay!

I can't get over these pumpkins. I've been sitting here staring at them while my laundry is waiting. AMAZING. I have got to be one of the worst pumpkin carvers of all time so I don't even understand this kind of talent. Thanks for sharing them.

I had to look at these a few times. Really incredible. I would never have the patience or inclination to spend so much time on something couldn't be eaten and would rot in a matter of days.

Thanks for sharing and for the mention. You have a really good chance to win since I have very few entries! Good luck to you :)

I saw this guy on CBS Sunday morning on Halloween. Unbelievable. The funny thing, the guy is often not satisfied with his masterpieces and has destroyed several. Can you imagine?
